Sending and receiving
Have been able to use vipps all the time, but after November 2023 I struggle with vipps. I don't get paid with vipps in some places, people get an error message when they want to vipps me. Have tried deleting the app and re-entered everything, even changing cards to no avail.

Misogynistic app. They use a company called Shortcut that now everyone knows terrorizes young women who work there. In addition, Vipps sends begging messages for organizations that do not allow women to own their own house in an area of the Middle East.

Vipps is good as of now yet.
There are disadvantages and that is how the future can be precious, for example just to swipe the card 3 times today with DnB is 40 kr. Vipps was free and they have become more expensive and they will become more expensive. Another problem is that DnB is the best with vipps cooperation that is probably bought to paid legally or looks legal and it seems good that they take customers from other banks and the last thing we will end up with is a monopoly and more banks will be closed down over time. DnB seems to have the goal of getting as many contracts as possible that get others off the track. For some banks, it takes several days to transfer with Vipps and DnB in a second. This collaboration is at least as guilty of this collaboration as DNB.

Pay with Vipps! All you need is the name or number of the person you want to send money. We’ll take care of the rest. It’s as safe as a regular bank transfer, just way easier! With Vipps you’re able to: • Send and request money • Send gifts • View your account balance If you're older than 15 years old you can also: • Pay a business • Pay in stores • Pay online • Pay bills • Settle expenses in a group • Create a mobile appscription To use Vipps you’ll need: • A Norwegian national identity number or d-number • A Norwegian mobile number • A Norwegian bank account If you're above 15 years old you'll need: • A Norwegian payment card (Visa or MasterCard) • An email address • BankID If you add a picture of yourself, it’s easier for others to see who you are - if you don't we'll give you a Vipps-emoji! You can send up to 5000 kr for free. If you want to send more than 5000 kr the charge is 1% of the total amount. Sending gifts cost 5 kroner, but is free of charge for vippsers under 15. There is no charge for receiving money and sending money to a business or organisation is free no matter the amount. It is also free of charge to shop with Vipps online, pay in stores and pay bills.
