Nickel and dime
I find it so annoying that something as fundamental to social media as a block requires you to pay after you reach a limit. And then they add a hide feature which doesn't work. Honestly it's annoying to get asked every 10seconds hey do you wanna pay for a really basic version of an app that's over priced. Mediocre at best. Do better.

Stale Dead App
Scruff is so limited by GREED it's totally stale dead in Los Angeles. First you get bombarded by very agressive Ads, than misled with profiles that are 6K miles away. Your local grid is filled with so many FAKE PROFILES and overly limited by Scruff paywalls $$$ you will just waste your time. Your profile views will be as sparse and sporadic than the reviews about this dead App. Lastly, Scruff takes your conversations HOSTAGE for $$$ which is totally disgusting. The Developer Response that Scruff is “Rich in features” is totally lame and made to shame, suppress and hide user reviews tells a lot.

So I tried to chat with some ppl and few days later my account is suspended for spam great app 🤣. So no thanks will stay with grindr.

Good app
I like this app better than all the other gay “meeting” apps. But recently the bkdr.com ad on the front page is causing me issues. I'm fine with it but it's too easily clicked when clicking anything at the top of the screen, and instantly takes me to the website. Please put a pop up to confirm, too often on company WiFi I've been directed to a hookup website.

Ads for Pro subscribers
The Scruff product team has purposefully built in ads for their Pro subscribers. Their customer support team confirmed this is a feature and not a bug. What's worse, is they have gradually added more over the past few releases. Now you can't dismiss any of them and they show up in the grid as well as the main screen. This is terrible product management and UX.

Don't bother subscribing for this app. You will still get their on adds like boost your profile all over you screen. Greed without boundaries. I will be unsubscribing

It's even understandable that certain functions of the app are charged in the pro version, now charging to put the photo on the profile is already too much if I could give less than 1 star I would really give it, ridiculous that, not even competing apps are doing it.
