The app works well so far, still has a lot of room for improvement, especially compared to the Lidl app: There is no bonus program, you can't pay with the app, there is no digital receipt. These are my main points of criticism. Otherwise, you can't print the recipes (only via detours), there is no weekly schedule. It would be desirable, and unfortunately the Lidl app does not offer it either, to have a function that detects whether items in the shopping list are also available in the store.

Compared to other apps (REWE, EDEKA, etc.), Aldi's app has no added value (no coupons, no points program).

APP FOR SHOPPING ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!
Since there is no Wi-Fi in our Aldi and the reception is abysmal or not possible at all, I can't even see my shopping list in the app. It doesn't matter whether [phone] or Telekom, both only have Edge there due to the building - so the app is not properly usable. Edit on 07.10.2024: If you click on the shopping list in the app, no items are displayed and the app hangs every time! 👎🏻

Was already better
A very good app, actually. The shopping list is clear and convenient. However, my shopping list has been freezing for several weeks or doesn't open at all. I can't do anything with that anymore. That's why only two stars. I will now try to delete and reinstall the app. Maybe that works, but it's not a permanent solution. -Update- after deleting the app and reinstalling it, the list works again for the time being. There's one more star for it.

I like to use the app very much (and often). However, I miss the standard range. Especially with fruit and vegetables, there are only the offers and that's it. Otherwise great app.
