The one thing I used to use the app for and you have removed it with the update, I might as well delete the app!

The old app was really slow but at least I could top up my electric but this new app isn't even showing my electric so have to go the long way to top up.

Doesn’t work for everyone
If you are a British Gas customer who hasn't yet been chosen to have your account migrated on to their ‘new system', this App will not help you and will just waste your time. It's not possible to view or top up these accounts using this App. Instead, just go to the British Gas website and login to your account that way. It will save you time and stress. PLEASE MAKE THIS CLEAR IN THE APPSTORE BRITISH GAS - THIS APP IS ONLY FOR NEW CUSTOMERS OR EXISTING CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE MIGRATED ONTO THE NEW BRITISH GAS SYSTEM.

Worthless
No option to top up light!!!! Absolutely useless rubbish. My gas bill is automatic in my bank account but the light I use to top up in the old app with no problem. Now British Gas don't allow me access to old app and they made mandatory to install and use an incomplete app without considering costumers with top up plan. Now every week I have to do a gymnastic just to top up the light.

Doesn't show balance. Doesn't show gas account. Have to log in on web to top up gas. Who releases a new app that has less features than the previous app. Making pre pay gas a nightmare. Will be changing from shitish gas.

Just downloaded and already has technical issues, gas boiler not going on although I put £30 on and smart meter says i have £27 of credit. Absolutely useless app total waste of time.
