Met Office Weather Forecast - Latest Quality Issues
iOS

Terrible inaccurate
Inaccurate info and data and unlike other weather apps that welcome feedback to correct inaccurate observations and feedback, they don't take feedback into account with adjusting or making more accurate predictions. Instead they send you long long long long boring as, detailed irrelevant nonsense emails that are not a personalised response. Had leave/delete due to the above and have found a much much better app! Has much nicer interface and wonderful accurate information

This app is not always 100% right like now for instance, according to the Met Office app there will be no rain today but look out the window and there is light rain and has been for the last 2 hours, probably not the best time to ask if I'd rate you app sorry
Android

ok but often seems less rain than suggested

Often completely wrong
Looking out of my window this app says I should be soaked in glorious sunshine. It's completely overcast. The Apple weather app while not great, I much preferred Dark Sky before they killed it, is far more reliable.

Accurate, still some (new) irritations
Generally I like this app, and for where I live it seems pretty accurate. A couple of things bug me all the time, one old and one new. Firstly, what on earth is the new wind direction picture meant to show? That wind always blows between cold air and rain? Or what? The old arrowhead showed everything I needed to know. Secondly, and I have posted on this before, why are locations named after local government constituencies? We have managed with town and city names, or at a pinch counties, for centuries… (11/11/24) The hour-by-hour forecast for the current location does not always update when it should. This is particularly noticeable on first looking at the app in the morning, when it often shows the forecast made the previous day. Clicking “Close” and then “View full forecast” almost always results in a change. Simultaneously, tomorrow's forecast changes from every 3 hours to hourly.
iOS

Adverts on every video
Isn't it enough that we download the app? 20 second adverts per weather forecast clip is ridiculous.
Android

Mostly accurate, as weather unpredictable.
Android

Ads in the government app? Uninstalled and back to YR.no

6 degrees off today. Too often wrong. Uninstalled
