If the app doesn't notice that you've been driving, the route is shown as a flight. Very sensible for 150km... I uninstalled the app, it's no good for me

Delightful, but not always practical
In general the app is very well made. There's attention to detail and delight. However the focus on the delight overshadows the practical ease of use (for example: to open a guide I always have to select my current location first, and skip the story-like introduction: fine the first time around but annoying when consulting the guide frequently)

Originally 4* Polarsteps has been a great tool for real time tracking of our campervan travels. My family can download the app & follow us so they know where we are. Downgraded to a 3* because photos are not uploading in the order they were taken. Downgrading to a 2* because I am fed up seeing follow requests. We should be able to undo them on inactive accounts or for people who no longer use the app. It's now 2025 and I have been looking at these follow requests for 6 years. ENOUGH ALREADY.

It's a really cool app that shows everything from your travels beautifully. The only downside to the automatic photo books is that your hotspots and activities are not included.

First get used to it, then it's fantastic
I used the app for a week-long tour. But I had to 'test' it for two days before everything worked as expected. It's a shame that you can't copy the text. Otherwise, absolutely benevolent 4 stars😘

Text has already been deleted several times!
It would actually be a great app! But I've experienced this several times now when I've written a lot of text and for some inexplicable reason it suddenly deletes everything in the middle of writing. There's no "back" function and you have to start again from the beginning 😡😡 It's very annoying!!

I wish that
The last stop will also be my next step, but is often the overnight location outside in the countryside. Readers would like to know the next larger town. Flight data cannot be corrected, stopovers are not recognized.
