I am very satisfied with Polarsteps for tracking and sharing trips with family and friends. The easy creation of a travel book that I have already used. Some small areas of improvement in my opinion: The detection of the use of transport (and being able to select the mode of transport) and the GPS which marks stops where there are none, does not mark a stop where there are (and which sees us in a plane when we were in a train) (about ugly fake steps).

Very good app
Top application, complete, well done and easy to use. I do not use the tracker and create my steps manually. The only downside with the current version is that you can no longer make a draft of a step without an internet connection. Before you could prepare it (text + photos) offline, it was more practical. On condition that you have created the position beforehand of course

Stop asking for my location
I'm using Polarsteps to follow other people. There is no need to use my location as a reader. Still, each time I open the app, I get a message that my location privacy settings aren't correct and I need to change them.

It requires too many things to be just a travel log. If I want to say that I have been in x country and that's it, I shouldn't have to put an exact date and the rest of the data, for example. If it's the year.

Nice app, but…..
I think I belong to the early adopters: I have been using PolarSteps for years. The reason I do not give 5 stars is that photos from previous trips sometimes disappear (grey area) or are only displayed blurry. Very annoying. I cannot fix it. That is also why I do not dare to participate in the business model: the album they try to sell you.

Great app as a traveler, however I don't always receive step notifications from travelers whose trips I follow.
