**A year later edit. This app is a scam I feel like. Once your score drops, you can't get it back up. My score dropped 10 points in one week because of 3 events, I reported issues on 2 and got a generic response. A week later, with no issues, no increase. I canceled my insurance last night and went with a company that was cheaper even without the "discount." App stresses me out, lol

Having to go through all your trips and eliminate the ones you weren't the driver.

This application is inconsistent.

Worst so far I cannot install to the end. I can't get help.

I have concern with braking hits. None of my braking instances was related to avoiding accidents. 1. I was trained in drivers education that whenever possible that you don't slow down on highway but wait until you are on exit ramp. 2. Other instances was related to light changes. Seems like app could detect these instances and not hit so hard. I would think that it should know if in an exit ramp (GPS or even hearing turn single. Seems like it would know if

I do not like TruLane because it does not record accurately. It does not know why it records a particular item. For instance, it may say I went to fast (for 7 feet), but it doesn't know why. If I am turning left, I do not turn if there is oncomming traffic. When it is clear, I then turn and attempt to not be in the intersection very long. I was trained in driving school to not stay in the intersection too long. Also, to get onto my home driveway I have to give it a little push (high curb).

Reports me speeding when I'm not. Frequently "records my trip" just walking around, not even near my car.

I am a passenger in someone else's vehicle about half the time and my phone is recording their driving if I don't remember to change my status to passenger. . It would be better if there was a device I could put in the glove box my car. Then it would only record my driving and I would not have to be trying to remember to change my status to passenger.

I have been using this app and scored hi 95 the first 6 months, then it started giving me low scores for the same driving. I was on the interstate, going the speed limit well 5 miles under, and it said I was speeding and gave me a bad rating. Now I'm like at a 50 on my score and have 5 stars on all my driving trips. It's awful and supposed to help aarp people. That's a joke my insurance went up .I'm shopping for different insurance now.
