App doesn’t work
I can't sign in using the app because the keyboard won't pop up to type the password or username in. I can access the website but it won't let me add another bank account because it says the first one hasn't been verified yet even though it has been. For such a large company neither of these should be issues.

The app is good if it can open it on my phone. But the second or third time I open it, it will say "something is not right, please try again" and I have to restart my phone in order to open it again. First I thought it's my phone. But after I upgraded to a new phone, the problem persists. I am using Google Pixel phone. Not sure if this is unique to Google phones. Please fix this. It is annoying.

Been trying to see my 401k balance for a month and it cannot pull up account info
Usually very slow to connect and now it cannot pull any info on my 401k. Is there anyone in their development team working to address issues?

Limited in competitive and comparable capabilities!
Upright Review Vanguard has been one of the most frustrating financial platforms I've ever dealt with, and after my experience, I'd strongly recommend exploring alternatives. From restrictive account features to lengthy wait times, the company consistently fails to meet the needs of its customers. One of the most glaring issues is the inability to purchase fractional shares. Unlike many other modern investment platforms, Vanguard forces you to buy full quantities of stocks. This creates significant challenges during volatile market conditions, as the inability to scale purchases can limit flexibility or push you into riskier decisions just to execute a trade. It's an outdated limitation that does not serve investors effectively. In addition, the customer service experience has been a nightmare. My wait times to reach a representative have ranged from 45 minutes to over an hour. When you finally get through, it's often for issues that only Vanguard can resolve—tasks that should be simple but are instead drawn out by inefficient systems and untrained staff. The lack of urgency and respect for customers' time is unacceptable for a company managing people's hard-earned money. Adding to these frustrations are the numerous technical glitches within Vanguard's app, such as incorrect stock quantities, misreported balances, and delayed updates. These issues make it nearly impossible to make informed investment decisions, especially when the market is moving quickly. On more than one occasion, I've been locked out of my account during critical trading windows, leaving me unable to act when it mattered most. This lack of reliability has directly resulted in financial losses, which is infuriating for any investor. Compared to competitors like Fidelity, Vanguard is severely lagging in both technology and customer service. Simple features like fractional shares, real-time balance updates, and streamlined assistance are standard elsewhere but remain missing or poorly executed here. If you're considering Vanguard, I'd recommend looking elsewhere unless you're prepared to deal with outdated practices, long wait times, and unreliable systems. Managing investments requires trust and efficiency—two things Vanguard consistently fails to deliver.
