They won't let me withdraw my money and are making me send documents. They want to deter you from doing this, so they can retain.

I get charged for a subscription I didn't active and they blocked my account I called to cancel the account and they are very shady they didn't cancel it now I have to go to the bank and block them!

changed my bank but lost my phone... security wont let me get through so I closed my account.. now my investments went to my old bank which is closed.. horrible experience.

Can’t Access My Own Money
Absolutely unacceptable. Acorns delinked my bank account without warning, and now I can't withdraw my own money. I've tried multiple times to relink the account, but the app either errors out or flat-out won't let me. Support has been slow and unhelpful, giving generic responses with no actual resolution. It's incredibly frustrating and feels like they're holding my money hostage. I trusted Acorns to be a reliable financial tool—never again.

There are better options
There needs to be some kind of oversight committee that vets these apps in the AppStore. When you sign up for acorns you will have a subscription fee which is expected but what's not expected is when you close your account and pause all your transactions going forward, acorn has this scam going that they continue charging you for a subscription even though it clearly shows checking closed transactions paused etc. they also make it next to impossible to get a hold of someone. What's with these app developers not having a contact number that should be required ed to be in the AppStore. I'm already going to be reporting you to Texas consumer protection department and anyone else I can find. Shady business practices Folks you can read it yourself straight from the app developers doesn't matter if you close your account they will still charge you for a subscription and they make it impossible to find where it's supposed to be canceled . I still stand by my m there are better options. Just for your information I have had. My bank block any more charges from acorn and requested the fees for the last two months be charged back to acorn. It's ridiculous that I had to do this acorn has the worse customer service. I should not have had to do this when it's impossible to cancel it through the app all it says is it can't be processed

My bank keeps getting "Unlinked” from the roundups feature
I was primarily interested in the automated roundups feature on this app. But after my bank got unlinked from it for the 50th time I decided enough is enough. I tried three times to work with customer support but they were unhelpful. First time I emailed them and never got a response. The second time I spoke with someone in chat and they just gave me the same info the ChatBot gave. They insisted it would work this time... The third time I couldn't get through to a person after like 2 hours. You may have a better time than I but if you use America First Credit Union maybe pass on using this app.

Bank Linking Issues
I've tried SEVERAL times over the past couple days to set up my account and link my bank. Every time I get to the linking process it says TRY AGAIN. I get an email that the linking process was successfully yet i can't use the app!? This is absolutely infuriating.
