Devalued Loyalty Program
MVP 100K gets you nothing but early boarding anymore. Alaska Airlines new protocols prevent upgrades from being released at the 120, 72 hour mark as they promise. Instead they hold on to seats and sell for as low as $10 to prevent giving to their loyalty members. Worse you can't get food off you upgrade after the 24 hour mark, so it's a scam to get hundreds of dollars for worse and worse service. Last First Class I paid for the tray tables were covered in puke and they didn't have the meal I preordered a week prior. So seems you get short end of the stick no matter what route you go, paying or loyalty. I'm converting to Delta this year due to Alaska's worsening service.

Two years ago, this app worked perfectly, no glitches very little lag, but it lacked a lot of features compared to the desktop online version. Gradually they added more features, but at the same time the app is having more and more issues. The last update has so much lag, and sometimes things don't work, that it's almost unusable. You have to force stop it and/or clear the cache.

Dep & Return dates
Mostly quite nice to work with. There's been a problem with making reservations in the depart/return dates. When entering the departure date it's been using that date for the return. Tried shutting down & starting over to no avail. This has been happening quite often the past month or so. Kind of annoying as it costs time. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Horrible update
Electronic bag tag screen blank, horrible if you have large text on. Selecting seats goes out to lunch. Basically forget the app see an agent nothing works anymore

Worst ever
I have iphone 16 pro max and this app is worst ever. It crashes and I cant book and nw I cant even check my itinerary

Complications
Got confirmation then got email that it could not be processed . Then made call because would not download to trips. Was on hold 30 minutes. Then they said they can't help me. Then get another email saying to contact you.

A bit misleading
I was happy to find a fare a step above Saver BUT Disappointed to discover that while I had a ticket, I had to pay to be able to choose a seat! Why not just show the price that includes the seat choice?
