Update still no fix on login
Update 3/25 still no fix. Shockingly bad app: seems to go backwards with every update. Now can no longer iOS login app or website. No face log in or even tracking within session. No settings to adjust login. No boarding passes in app. All passed to email making more time wasted. Welcome to 1994!

Poor service
Worst flight crew and service I have ever experienced. Flight attendants did not know what was going on, crew argued with one another, flight attendant told passenger to tell other passengers not to get off the plane when we returned to refuel (after pilot told us we could). Also did not let us know where to pick up “carry on” baggage, and had an attitude when I asked. Online, on the phone, and in person was all poor service. Will definitely avoid flying American Airlines again.

Slow or No Data
App is slow giving flight status or updates. Often never provides baggage claim info after landing, especially in Chicago.

Displeased with app and service
I was a proud advantage member but American ruined my vacation experience. Cancellations and delays with conflicting reasons. I just hope they help make things right.

Why can’t I upgrade to first class with points on the app?
Overall, the app works fine, but it's ridiculous there isn't a way to upgrade an existing reservation to first class using points.

Worst airline, terrible app.
Mobile boarding passes would not load. AA staff are rude and their customer service is uniquely unhelpful

Won’t send notifications for flight changes
Missed a flight because the terminal changed without warning. No announcement on the intercom and no push notification from the app. Boarding pass in wallet also didn't update. I had to check in the app specifically to know it changed at all, and by then the plane was already in the air. I checked and there's no way to enable push notifications for changes or delays. Such a basic feature that you'd expect it to have by default.

Good customer service; bad policies
With only 66% of flights arriving on time, American Airlines is ranked 3rd worst for reliability in the US. And, unlike most airlines, American will not use other airlines to get you to your destination. However the people tend to be nice.
