Terrible since updates
Terrible since update and then they keep trying to repair this and only makes it worse ! App now clunky slow constant fails - think will move to another supermarket now as after weeks issues still the same

Rubbish update
Haven't actually done an online shop for months due to the terrible update that now makes it so much harder to order online. Come to the app today to place an order and remembered why I haven't in a while. So far over 40 minutes in and I'm still trying to add stuff to my basket and now the app has crashed. I've given up and will be going elsewhere today for my shop.

Awful
I've been doing home shops with Asda since 2020 and it was great, but the version of this app that is now available is awful. Slow, clunky, poor user interface. It's like someone has dug up a shopping app from 2008. I'm seriously thinking about writing off my delivery pass and changing supermarkets just because of how frustratingly poor this app has become.

New app very frustrating
Since before Xmas the app has been updated and the change I have noticed is how you add favourites into your basket. Before you could just scroll down and add as you scroll all the way to the bottom. Now you have pages 1 to 62 for example with about ten items per page, when you click for next page u start half way down that next page so you have to scroll up before continuing down. EVERY PAGE!. So for this I have now left Asda and gone to Tesco. Sort it out!

I can imagine if you wanted to get the prisoners of Guantanamo Bay to talk you would force them to use this app for 5mins as a method of the most cruel torture.

A once decent app experience is now glitchy and frustrating
This app has loads of defects and they are not being resolved by Asda. The website experience isn't any better. I can no longer see when the driver is estimated to deliver. Drivers can't refund items handed back. It's unpredictable if the app will actually allow me to do it. I was unable to book a home delivery slot for 2 weeks because “changing my address will empty my basket” but I'm not trying to change my address, I'm trying to choose a slot. I had to give up and book click and collect instead. Today, I couldn't complete my order using a suitable slot because of a new defect, which was telling me I was buying restricted items, alcohol or tobacco, which could not be delivered before 10am. There were no restricted items to remove from the basket so I was forced to choose a slot that is later in the day. There are so many issues making ordering inconvenient that I am planning to end my delivery pass and change to Tesco for my weekly >£200 order.

Terrible
What have you done!? I use to love using click and collect for my shopping. Especially with 2 young children, 2 jobs and a very busy life. It made everything so easy. I have only just got around to updating it and now it's a nightmare! It would be quicker for me to actually go around the shop with both my children than it is to use the app. You have to go into different headings to find the items you want. And even then not everything is listed. I like to make a favourites list of everything I buy (including the not so regular bits), so I can use it as a check list each week. Now, there is a limit of 99 items for your favourite list, which isn't enough for me. Then there's the odd item that it doesn't seem to like and won't add it to your basket, even when it appears to be in stock. And then when you try to check out it says ‘I'm sorry some of the items aren't available to check out at this time.' And it won't let me proceed to checkout. Iv had to try going through the list to delete things in a guess to what it could be and I found even with only 1 item in my basket it wouldn't let me check out. Absolutely terrible! Worst update ever! I will be using another shop for my click and collect in future.
