Good app, some improvements to do
Overall it is very good. One issue I have is it sometimes fails to properly store the listening progress so on a next resume it starts repeating a chapter or two.

TOTAL RIP OFF. In 2023, I signed up for a 99 cent trial, then canceled. This was just a ploy to get my account info. Audiobooks has been billing me for over a year. I had to change my bank account to block them.

Lack of chapters
I cannot believe this app does not show book chapters. What an oversight. I downloaded an audiobook for a book that I was already on chapter 27 of reading, thinking I could pick up where I left off via audio. But the app makes that impossible because it doesn't show chapters or where you are in the book.

Everytime I make a book mark, I come back to read it and it's not where I had it

Tried this app after running out of hours on Spotify. The chapters and the audio are not lined up, which makes it hard to keep track of where I'm at. Also there are no transitions between chapters, so they just flow into the next one with no pause or indication of transition, when they have them on Spotify, it's the same reader, so I'm not sure why they're not on here. Kinda strange.

It's terrible UX that you can't access account settings from the app to control your subscription. Business model should allow for pay as you go option.

Cancelled when the bookclubs went away. I listen to way too many books to pay $15 each. I try to use my public library as much as possible. So sad that this option was taken away.

Used to be great. Now? Not so much. When I signed up (why I signed up) for $14.95 each month you got one credit for a free book and a VIP credit to listen to as many books as you wanted to in one of their several "clubs". Each month they had 3 or 4 clubs to choose from with 40 or so books in each club & you could listen to your heart's content. I loved that. After about 4 months of this, they changed it & VIP is now 1 book, which starts at the beginning every time I press play. Very not cool!
