App is ok
Lessons are not clear and move too quickly.

I expected it to be English American but it is British.
When you select the language to learn before counting the app, the US flag appears, which makes you assume that it is American English, that motivated me to sign up, then that you are using the application you notice that the pronunciation and audios are British, that is not what I expected and for me it is a problem because then an American speaks to you and you do not understand anything since it sounds very different. I need American English.

In addition to being weak, they simply suspend the benefit related to TIM without prior notice and do not respond to the email that is supposed to provide technical support to subscriptions. For those who are also dissatisfied and, like me, want to learn French, migrate to Apprendre le Français: free, ad-free and complete 😉

it's very hard here to review previous lessons content for memorization. But anyway, I'm kind of disappointed in this language learning gamification model. This app, as well as others like Duolingo, making a habit to open it up (the app) and do a quick lesson only to keep up with your streaks. Maybe you remember some vocabulary but all these kinds of apps sucked with actual learning. All you learn is to open the app everyday…

I downloaded the app and couldn't make an account. It gives mistakes and errors and nothing. What a pity.

The interface is still very old. The activities allow you to select the next answer before the question appears, causing accidental touches. Personally, I find speaking practice terrible (in Dutch, at least): what the robot says is different from the actual pronunciation and when you record it, it seems like you have to repeat the same thing 500x until the system recognizes it as correct. The mechanics of writing the words are also boring, there is no option to use my own keyboard.

You can speak Ukrainian but you can't learn it. You can learn Russian but you can't speak it. Riveting, right? And that's the main problem of the app: too few languages available, and what's worse - you can't the 'I speak' languages list differs from the 'I want to learn' list.

over-hyped and overpriced. Speaking exercises don't work properly. Several times I have passed my phone to someone who's first language is the one I'm studying and it still says incorrect. Seems overly strict or plain wrong. the words and phrases I'm being taught are also very outdated, again according to people who actually speak the language as their native tongue.
