It was great when it was Babylon but now eMed not so much
I've made 10 appointments of which 8 in the last 2 months, have been late and then declared “ tried to call” me which didn't happen. They were late and decide to do a no show to catch up on their schedule. Ridiculous and wasting my time. Furthermore I had referral to a specialist and they prescribed medication for my gp to continue on and eMed says they don't take “ shared notes” anymore because they are overloaded with NHS patients without giving me a solution. You grew too big too fast and now incapable of handling the volumes, appointments are scarce as it is. What was a really great idea is now a terrible service.

Gone downhill
Used to love this app when I lived in London few years back for NHS services. moved to Yorkshire so had to switch to private pay as you go which to me was still worth it as appts normally got on the same day within hours and clinicians did the job well. Iv had a on going issue last few months and been seeing the same GP about an issue, last in May. Tried using them recently, that GP no longer available. Getting appt now means waiting more than a day and it's always the same few GP available. I have booked at least 3 appts now and clinicians have not turned up to the call. One of them eMed rebooked for me due to GP not attending the appt and even that call the clinician did not turn up. I used to recommend this to everyone now but no longer will be using it myself. Trying to get in touch with customer support is very difficult process , almost like no one works here. When they were called Babylon they were a lot better. Very disappointed with the recent experiences. Update: spoken to bank to get my money back and due to me cancelling after them not turning up after 10 mins and them thinking it's acceptable to call over 6hr later they don't owe me a refund for a service I never received, they getting worse and worse by the day, money grabbing and would not recommend to anyone.

Don’t use if you have medical needs
There are virtually no appointments available for any medical needs. There is no way to contact a doctor if you have a chronic medical condition. The chat bot tells you to call. The recorded phone message tells you to use the chat bot, which won't route you to a person if you're NHS. It's not just that the app is terrible, but eMed is putting people's health at risk due to their incompetence in booking appointments. Avoid at all costs.

You cannot speak to anyone
It takes WEEKS to get a simple appointment - and when there's an issue the chat function doesn't work, nobody answers the phone. I used to love this service, now it's terrible

The contact page never works
It says in the app that you can chat to the support team but this is not the case! Also subscriptions are hard to cancel.

Used to be so good - now broken
You used to be able get an appointment within days. Now this is effectively useless. I've scrolled all the way into March and found no appointments — tried both online and phone. The online chat is useless — you just get a message that all appointments available are already on the app, and chat is not available for X customer. I'll be lodging a formal complaint about this — if you aren't offering any appointments all you're doing is collected the funding associated with my patient ID. Which given you're not offering any appointments = stealing.

Lacked duty of care
The app used to work well, but now it's riddled with bugs and nearly impossible to use for online appointments. Over the past five months, I've had numerous failed attempts to join appointments due to technical issues. Instead of resolving the problem, the only advice given is to re-book. However, there are no available appointments for months, leaving you trapped in an endless cycle with no way to get help, as chat support is no longer available. The basic duty of care is non existent.
