Works fine, except for notifications being skipped if the app is in foreground. I have to remember to hide it after every id confirmation.

This app pushes updates in the middle of the login process, so while you log in to personal pages such as banking, you will be forwarded to update the app. This should be changed so that you are not forwarded in the middle of a login process that is supposed to be characterized by security. Bad stuff.

There is hardly a more difficult and messy entrance to an online service! Have now spent 1000 NOK to get BankID on my phone - and am as far as I was a month ago! Anyone who has an alternative bank where the customer has been taken seriously?

I much preferred the old BanklD on mobile. Have to manually open the BankID app and then manually go back to the original app I came from, and this causes the login process to break quite often.

Rent this app only stops working occasionally and has to reinstall and set up bankid again once every 2 to 4 weeks. happened now for the 4th time.
BankID - Product Description
BankID is its own company together with BankAxept, and is no longer a part of Vipps. That means that our app has moved to our own developer account at Apple, and moved out of the Vipps account.

With the BankID app you can identify yourself, confirm payments and sign documents.

The app meets official security requirements and can be used to:
- Log in to public services and banks
- Sign binding documents electronically
- Confirm online payments

Instead of using the one-time password from your code device or confirm with BankID on mobile, you rather approve requests directly in the app. The BankID-app is used together with your social security number and personal password.

To get started you need to have a BankID certificate issued by a bank. At the moment only people with BankID from certain banks can activate the BankID app*. Check where your BankID is issued at bankid.no/privat.
