Should be way better
Coming from the Ulsterbank's app, this was a downgrade. Have both a sole trader account and current account so can't use Face ID for some reason…. Credit and debit payments have convoluted info, so impossible to know sometimes who has paid and who has taken money from your account. Transactions only go back around 260 lines so good luck printing out for vat returns. Sometimes transactions only go back a week and you're stuck with a statement which has way less information. If you're also using Revolut, this will feel like 80's tech! And if you need support, good luck speaking to someone in Ireland.

One of the most painful apps I'm forced to use. Baffling levels of missing features, massive latency and just plain ugly ui.

Brutal. Crashes at least twice a year for at least a day. Very slow and has very basic functions.

Poor accessibility, communication and badly mapped. The last number of requests to change amounts to savings have been ignored through the app. Deposit Accounts slow to move money around and very limiting when you want to adjust amounts. Other bank apps are much more efficient and less time consuming to navigate.

Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking allows you to perform your banking 'on the go'.

We’ve now added biometric login for both RoI and UK customers, giving you the option of faster login using your face or fingerprint. We’ve also made several small changes and fixes, including a keypad issue with PIN login on some device types, and displaying the first line of your address within the change of address feature.

What else is new?
•	Consent management dashboard, for your open banking connections to other banks or service providers
•	Don’t recognise a transaction? There’s now a help info link on the transactions screen 
•	We’ve also streamlined our in-app cookie policy
•	We’ve added a number of small fixes and performance improvements
