Intermittent problems are frustrating
The app itself is good when it works. At random times it will not open. Instead various messages appear that do not allow access. Trying again later sometimes works, but other times a call to customer service is needed.

Terrible banking experience
Ignore the branding. This is flat out Wells Fargo with the name of a credit union. Any lending or credit product linked will be automatically withdrawn from your account on the due date regardless of whatever you have autopay set up or not. This is how they have appealing rates. When you dispute this they will close your account and then get more predatory than any other institution in defense of their own unsavory practices.

Logs me out every second. I go out to look at another app, come back to this app and have to login again, and again, and again. my password is very long, very difficult to type and I'm getting sick of seeing "authentication failed" then have to call them because they don't believe it's me when it's from the same IP address as 4 minutes ago. like come on

Forgets login info wit Face ID
Ok, so using an iPhone 12 with face ID enabled. I try to login and it errors out with FaceID. Fine. Lookup my password and login manually, making sure to verify the use face ID option is enabled. Look up what I need to and close the app. Curious, open it again and try to login with face ID. Errors out again. Combined with my issues with their “messaging” function, it feels like BECU IT has gone backwards the last few years.

has transfer limits of $5000 a month. That's way too low. it should be much higher. this is going to take forever to get my money from another bank that doesn't do wire transfers
