This application is very suspicious as it is very similar to the normal banking app but when you put in your sign in info it states your information is incorrect. After which it asks you for your social insurance number as a proof of identification when trying to reset your password.

FIX PLAID
PLAID all the sudden stopped verifying their services for third-party financial apps and I rely on it to get me through a really hard time right now. You say it's working, but it's not and nobody can help me nor are they interested in doing so. FIX PLAID PLEASE

depositing
it wont let me deposit my checks on the app. super annoying. when i click deposit all it says is “don't refresh this could take up to 10 seconds” and then nothing. whole point of this app is so i dont have to go in person

Zero stars for both the bank and the app. Other people were never able to send me Zelle and the bank had my water service cut off because they wouldn't send my bill payment as I had scheduled.

Problem with keyboard
As mentioned by other reviewers, the keyboard that you use to login will not go away. I may have to open and close the app 4 to 6 times before it will go away. I even tried to delete it and reinstall the app in hopes of making it work, but it didn't and had the same problem. Otherwise, the app is solid when it works.

BMO is taking money out of my bank account and not posting it to my loan for up to 5 days after! This means i am paying interest on an incorrect amount! I am not happy with this FRAUDULENT bank! Yes.... BMO is stealing my money!! I will be financing with another bank ASAP!

Good Banking Experience, But Disappointed with Plaid Removal
Overall, my banking experience with BMO has been good, but I'm extremely disappointed with the decision to remove Plaid as a third-party app integration. This change has made it unnecessarily difficult to manage my finances across multiple platforms. Plaid was a convenient and secure tool that allowed seamless access to account information, and its removal feels like a step backward in providing a modern banking experience. While I appreciate the services BMO offers, limiting customer options like this is frustrating and out of touch with the needs of users who rely on financial technology. I expected better.
