Bose SoundTouch - Latest Quality Issues
Android

9 out of 10 times no connection can be established. What used to be top became a flop and today it is junk.
iOS

Since iOS 17.4.1, the app no longer finds the device !!
You are forced to buy new BOSE speakers, because this app no longer works - totally dubious service. The app is suddenly no longer usable after the iOS update 17.4.1 and has not been updated for 3 years, please deliver an update as soon as possible!!

It now works quite passably. We have three Soundtouch boxes. Two in the children's rooms. What I miss is the possibility to assign each child their own set of preset buttons 1-6 with their own Spotify account. Currently, they argue regularly when the press of a button in one children's room causes the music in the other room to stop.

Terrible App. Avoid. Used it for a while after ages trying to set it up. Had problems reconnecting, more problems attempting to set up a stereo pair, so eventually deleted. I decided to retry some year or so later hoping that Bose may have improved the usability of the app. Nope! Not a chance! After over an hour of trying to connect/reconnect/re-enter WiFi password/push buttons/thump buttons/curse/try again, I deleted it once and for all. Great speakers. Useless App.

Totally disappointed. Extremely hard to connect. Even when cell phone is playing on the speaker, the app says it can't find it. Not to mention the price. Much better, clever and cheaper alternatives available
iOS

No connection under IOS18
With the new IOS version 18 (here 18.1), the app no longer finds our Soundtouch 20 in the WLAN (neither iPad nor with iPhone). No problem with an old iPad (IOS 125.7). When will there finally be a bug fix?
Android

Clunky at times.
iOS

Group function
Why Bose removed the group function from the latest version?
Android

4 out of 5 times the app does not connect to the device, so no settings and no changes can be made. And this has been the case for years now... This is unsatisfactory at most.
