Cambly - English Teacher | unitQ Score

I used Cambly for two weeks and, although the proposal was very good, I had a frustrating experience. Many teachers who were online refused my calls, giving the impression that they don't want to teach beginners. I believe that the platform should review this concept and apply punishments to teachers who repeatedly refuse calls. For this reason, I am canceling Cambly as the service did not meet my expectations, in case this improves it is a great experience.

After i finish lesson, i want to listen recording in the background via my mobile phone. But in android there is not any download option. In order to listen the session, mobile phone screen must be kept open.

Avoid like the plague. Use the website version. Its a terrible app, doesn't function well, slides can freeze, app can freeze, connection is not stable through it, sending messages are not practical. It also sends and shares all your data and interaction you do with LinkedIn and Facebook. This app is also allowed in China but the website is blocked, that is also a giant red flag.

Cambly unfairly fired my dear friend and former tutor Heather a few weeks ago, and they didn't consider the students who enjoyed talking with her, didn't warn anyone, and many students still have no idea what happened. I've already talked with about 60 tutors on Cambly and Heather was definitely the best of all! Cambly will never be the same without her, and the internet connection is also pretty bad, the image often gets blurry and sometimes freezes. I'll never recommend Cambly ever again!

Don't subscribe. There is no problem until you subscribe, but after you do, there is no one who helps or responds. Auto-renewal is not turned off. When you ask questions, there is no answer.

I can't use this app in the landspace mode on my tablet. If you fix this issue that will make it much more easier for me to use the app on my tablet. My tablet is Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and OS is Android 14.
