Needs to he more filter options for example filter by average video duration would be legendary. A lot of people that upload cameos only go for a few minutes but others put proper amount of time into it and right now everyone is grouped into price categories which is not helpful when you want a video which isn't just a few seconds or minutes long like some users upload.

I bought a video for my wife for her birthday. The person want able to do it. Cameo said I would receive my money back but that never happened. I called them multiple times to ask about this all I got was their voicemail. If you use this just know you may not get a video or a refund. Buyer beware.

The app seems pretty cool but I noticed a lot of people want between the 40 and 60 marker or a 1 minute video. In my opinion if I'm only getting 50 to 60 seconds video that's $20 bucks all day long. Maybe if you got money to throw but I myself just can't justify the prices for such short videos.

I have had some success and some disappointment. Hard to get the “stars” to actually fulfill the requests. At least the actresses of Charmed. Tried several times, never happens. Also, I can't seem to get a refund. They will allow me to use it on someone else, but that's not the point. Should allow people to get their money back.

Is this gambling?

You pay up front to write a short message, but there's no guarantee of any response. Isn't that gambling - paying for a chance reward? That there's no requirement for them to respond to decline, your left waiting for a week to see if they do or not. Without complete transparency, there's no proof your message gets to the person you've chosen. Cameo could simply take the money and claim the person saw your message and just didn't accept. Easy money for them. I feel scammed, so cannot recommend this to anyone.
