no kitty :c
I came across an advertisement for the popular mobile game Clash of Clans, one of the most well-known strategy games in the world. At first glance, it seemed like just another game ad, promising a thrilling experience full of battles, heroes, and base-building strategies. However, what caught my attention wasn't the usual gameplay footage or promises of epic victories, but rather a cat. Yes, you read that right – a cat. The cat was an unusual and intriguing addition to the Clash of Clans ad. It wasn't something I expected to see in a game largely focused on warriors, archers, and barbarian kings. In the commercial, this cat appeared briefly but strikingly, sitting on top of a building or perhaps playfully interacting with the characters, almost as though it were part of the world of Clash of Clans. For reasons I couldn't fully explain, the cat's presence stuck with me. It was unexpected, quirky, and certainly something I hadn't seen in other ads for games of this genre. It gave the ad a sense of whimsy, a little touch of humor that felt out of place in a world otherwise dominated by fierce battles and tactical combat. I decided to download the game, curious to see where this whimsical cat might fit into the gameplay. I imagined it as some sort of rare pet or perhaps a special character that could be unlocked, adding a fun element to the otherwise intense atmosphere of the game. I anticipated that this cat, being such a cool feature in the ad, would be a part of my Clash of Clans experience from the moment I began playing. So, I dove into the world of Clash of Clans, building my village, training my troops, and slowly progressing through the game. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years, but one thing remained constant: no cat. The adorable creature that had so captivated me in the advertisement never materialized. There were no cats hidden in the game's forests, no feline sidekick to accompany my warriors, no cat-themed building to add to my collection. After over two years of playing Clash of Clans, the absence of the cat was impossible to ignore. At first, I thought maybe I had missed something – a hidden Easter egg or a special event that introduced the cat into the game at some point. But after countless hours of playing, I realized that the cat I had seen in the ad was simply nowhere to be found. It wasn't part of the game's mechanics or storyline. It wasn't a pet, a unit, or even a hidden feature that could be unlocked through a special achievement or event. It was as if the cat had never existed in the Clash of Clans universe at all. This realization left me with a sense of confusion and disappointment. I had been sold a vision of Clash of Clans that didn't align with the reality of the game. The ad with the cat had sparked my curiosity, drawing me into the game with the promise of something more, something playful, something lighthearted amidst the game's serious and often intense gameplay. Yet, after investing so much time and energy into the game, I was left wondering why the ad had misled me. Where was the cat? Why had it been featured so prominently if it had no place in the actual game? In retrospect, I can't help but see this experience as a microcosm of the broader issue of advertising in the gaming industry. Advertisements often play on our emotions and expectations, showcasing moments that may not even exist in the final product. The cat, in this case, served as a tool to lure players in, an unexpected and charming element designed to create a lasting impression. But once the allure of the advertisement faded and the game had been downloaded, the reality was far more focused on building villages, collecting resources, and waging wars than on any semblance of whimsy or lightheartedness. While I continued playing Clash of Clans for over two years, I could never fully shake the feeling that something was missing. The game was, in its own right, a compelling and engaging experience, but I couldn't help but wish for the cat that had once seemed so important in the ad. In the end, I realized that the ad, with its feline distraction, had become a symbol of the larger trend in gaming advertising — the use of false promises and misleading imagery to sell a product. It's not uncommon for ads to exaggerate or even fabricate elements of a game in order to make it more appealing to a broad audience. In this case, the cat was a harmless but glaring example of how marketing can sometimes create an experience that doesn't quite match up to reality. Despite the initial disappointment, I continued playing Clash of Clans, appreciating it for what it was, even if the cat was nowhere to be found. Perhaps, in the end, the cat was nothing more than a fleeting gimmick, a playful tool in the advertising campaign to get players like me to download the game. But it remains a curious and humorous part of my journey with Clash of Clans, a reminder that sometimes, the ads are not always what the

Global Chat
When I first started playing CoC there was still the global chat which was sometimes really funny, you could also find new clans and ask how it was, how active the players were or not, I miss all of that, I used to be online for hours but now I go in quickly for the clan wars or when I have to build something, I don't stay online for more than 15 minutes which is a real shame.

Go to sleep
Fix your stupid game. Gosh I've been playing since 2016, but come on COC, times have changed. At this age where the world is competing on Artificial Intelligence, couldn't you afford to give some intelligence to giants in builder battles so he doesn't waste his first punch skill on a freaking wall when the wall breaker has already taken down a wall just beside the one he locked on to first. Healers are senseless as they are busy healing some idiot tank troop stuck on a wall. The simplest safe attack is electro dragon attack. If you try to do some other kind of attack to keep things interesting, the troops will impress you with their pathetic lock IQ.
