All these people rating the app 5 stars "because I love the store!" are missing the point. I love the store, too, but their app is terrible. The online inventory rarely matches the in-store inventory; I'll see something in-store, then try to look it up on the app, and it doesn't exist. Or vice versa, I'll see something on the app and ask about it in-store, and they've never heard of it. Ohers have mentioned the login issues. Now, lately, the app keeps crashing and won't do anything at all.

What happened to this app? I cannot search anything! It just shows it's searching but no results! Costco really needs to spend some money on new technology!

To get past the warehouse select screen, you need to DENY the app permission to use your location. As soon as you do that, it lets you manually type in a location and almost immediately comes up with a list of options. It will ask you for permission to access your location again when you try to view your warehouse's inventory - deny it again or it'll never load. Once you get past all that nonsense the app is fine, but wish you could search the warehouse on the website.

Was told I couldn't use Google Wallet. Installed the Costco app, gave it permission for location, immediately asked to search for my warehouse and it wouldn't let me pick the city I am in which has 3 locations.

Costco is so great - but their app consistently sucks in terms of the load times 🙃 when it works, its great... but good luck finding a time it loads efficiently.

It's great for the ads, but the second you try to use it to navigate like a shopping website it slows down ridiculously. The Costco website in Chrome on mobile is much better and supposed to be the same experience.
