Recently, I had an experience where I scanned my membership card when entering the store, but when it came time to pay, the system asked me to scan it again along with my ID. I understand that scanning the card at checkout is standard, but having to do it twice along with the ID felt unnecessary and confusing. App totally SUCK! Will not let me login. I enter my email address & password and it just sits there. No errors or no messages stating incorrect login ID or password. Support also SUCKS! Waited on the phone for over an hour and still waiting. Chat was useless as well. I don't have this issue with Sam's Club or BJ's. Get it together Costco!!!

Bad. Set location changes to Thorncliff Park each time the app is opened. Often encounter website errors when redirected from the app. App doesn't work well with foreign eSIMs. Often it's unaccessible. It's slow and not intuitive. The exec only section in app with coupons are hard to find. Membership renewal via app fails to update. It seems Costco is using a system from 1989. Just look at their terminals next time you're at customer service or picking up an electronic item.

Thete is no Scan and Go option available. Was about to try and switch from Sams Club to Costco but since there is no scan and go in this App. I'll just stay with Sams.

The only thing I don't like about the app is that I can't use my debit card to check out in the store. I need to have the Costco credit card for that. I'm also a member of Sam's Club. With Sam's Club app, it is easy for me to go to the store and do a self check out using the app using my personal debit card instead of a store credit card. That definitely makes my experience way better because I don't have to wait in line to check out.
