Not working
When logging in, the message appears: Digid has not been active for 15 minutes. Then I can't do anything with it anymore.

App freezes regularly
The app freezes regularly. There is nothing to do with it and the choice to log in to this device via the Digid app is missing. Furthermore, the screenshots here in the App Store look different from those of the app on my iPhone 15 while all updates have been updated.

Still error messages after two years
Working with a pairing code works well in itself, but when I want to log in with the app on my phone, I have been getting the same error message for more than two years, namely that I have not always been there for more than 15 minutes. Tried all the tips in the app to fix that but nothing helps. When will this be solved???

Too complicated for the elderly with pairing codes and two devices at the same time. Pretty good for me.

Does not work at all with activating a driver's license. PIN code is correct (of the letter) does not follow the system.

Let's start with the positive: this app gets the job done, even though it might take a few attempts. That said, it is baffling that this government funded app, after years and years of user feedback and development, is still very noticeably riddled with little bugs. Logging into several mobile apps/sites after each other? "There's something wrong with the QR code." I wasn't even using a QR code! Train going into a tunnel while logging in? "You pincode is incorrect and you have -1 attempts left." Want to log in by actually scanning a QR code? Doesn't matter that the QR code is dead centre in the middle of the screen, the app just doesn't register it. The accompanying software on desktop/web is no different: choose logging in using a QR code? The QR code may simply not appear (blank) or it does, but is blurry. How hard is it to correctly render a QR code to screen‽ While I think the idea of DigiD is great, the execution gets little more than a pass.

New mobile. Passport scan does not work. What a mess this. Go and arrange it. This takes a lot of time for nothing. Do not use this app. Just changes your Digid into someone else's and is very often down. This is government. We all know how the government handles your data. So be very careful. I had this app and mobile set up for my mother. Suddenly everything is on my Digid. I can no longer log in to all her details.

Logging in with the DigiD app can be done in two ways: 1. On your phone or tablet you log in with just a pin code. 2. Or log in on a computer using the app. You take over a verification code, scan a QR code and then enter your pin code. DATA PROCESSING & PRIVACY The DigiD app processes the IP address, the name and version of the operating system of your smartphone or tablet, the unique identifier of the mobile device, your mobile phone number and the 5-digit PIN code you select. When performing the ID check, DigiD processes the document number / driver's license number, date of birth and validity. By downloading and using the DigiD app you agree to this processing, which is also subject to the following provisions. 1. The user's personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. In the privacy statement you will find who is responsible for the processing of personal data for DigiD, which personal data of the DigiD user is processed and for what purpose. The processing of personal data by DigiD and rules on the operation, security and reliability of DigiD are included in legislation and regulations.
