DoorDash customer review
I have been a reoccurring user of this platform, and I was highly disappointed to see that there were no promo codes that were enabling me to get any amount of discount I don't think you guys lose out on any major revenue letting people get anywhere from 10 to 20% off per order, but everybody picks her marketing strategies. However I couldn't help but see that I was entitled to a free item from McDonald's so I did spend over $15 part is it won't even allow me to take the money off because right now they don't serve a big Mac or any other lunch related options they had offered so I mean realistically I'm gonna be looking into some other platforms such as Uber eats because I feel that not only was I not appreciated as a customer and given any type of anywhere from a 10 to 20% discount might as well be nonexistent if anything like that that matters and is gonna count that's a nice gesture that gets the customer to turn back around and use you next time blatantly tell me that and not allow me to put that as a credit towards the meal to lower the amount as is and or switch the item that I would be entitled to equal or lesser value breakfast related unfair I know that when I log on at lunch, if not gonna tell me, I have a free order because of the money I spent this morning so I'm ultimately not getting any benefit or loyalty recognition for being a customer through you guys honestly would really make my day if you could either credit my credit card back five dollars or give me some type of coupon to apply for my future meals maybe worth $10 in credit or 15 please? I am sure none of your directors were higher-ups ever ideas and say yup we're gonna go ahead and implement that however I think that whoever is strategizing business and customer relation maybe they will come up with some type of like reward system or benefit for even working with you guysor maybe it'll just be an obsolete app just like a lot of other apps vine used to be a huge application now I think they call it TikTok. You always want your customers to be and return customers always want your customers to believe that you and them are equally in contract.

Terrible support & intentionally bad UI
Had an issue where somehow I ended up logged into an account that wasn't mine, and couldn't delete my card info off of the account because DoorDash forces you to always have a payment method saved once you put one in. I cancelled the order as soon as I realized I was on a different account and wasn't given a full refund. So I'm also just out $24. Yippee. Support was absolutely useless. They kept telling me things I already knew, and I had one agent straight up lie to me saying they deleted the card info even though they didn't and hung up on me when I said my issue was not resolved. To top that off, they outsource their support to another country, too. Gotta love companies that want to underpay people every opportunity they get. UI design is intentionally bad and intended to make it as hard as possible to find the cancel order option. I was doing this on the browser on a computer - as a designer myself, I can tell when something is made to be intentionally confusing. Absolutely egregious.

Scam
I ordered Taco Bell a while back and I clicked cancel order not even 1 minute after I submitted my order and they did not give me a refund. I have been to the Taco Bell in Chester many times and I can promise that they did not start making my order 1 minute after it got put in. And there is no way for me to complain this, they charged my card for the whole order.

SCAM BEWARE
I have been an active user of doordash and other food delivery services for years. Doordash is a complete scam! It will charge your card for extra things outside of your order. It also increases the prices on menus and adds additional fees. If you have a dash pass like I did, you will be charged multiple times a month for it. I am currently doing a fraud report with my bank after being charged twice this week for my dashpass that I canceled last month. Save yourself the trouble and order through another app like Uber eats or through the restaurant/store themselves!
