Criminal

Drop box has charged my card for $21 a couple times a week over the last year. I never authorized the charges and when you call or try to cancel they don't stop charging your card. Had to call Amex

If the software works well, users won't want to cancel it. After finding that it is not easy to use, you want to cancel the subscription, and you can't find a place to cancel the subscription, do you want to continue to deduct the money? This kind of layout design is undoubtedly similar to the fraud group, so be generous and brave to face users... Please tell me, where is the place to cancel the subscription? Why not?

Deceptive practices

I've had Dropbox for a long time. It does the job, I guess. This review is about the deceptive practices Dropbox partakes in. I kept getting messages from Dropbox that I was approaching my data limit and that I should upgrade. I went through and cleaned out some video files I no longer needed. But kept getting alerts. I did upgrade because I was concerned (I'm the only family member that has digital copies of my mother's pictures). It's taken me ages to finally sit down and figure out what was going on. Turns out my account was nowhere near the limit. They did a “gotcha” and have been getting an extra $9 from me each month for a couple of years. I just discovered I could easily downgrade and still have absolutely plenty of space.

Too bad to upload a file with slow internet. Since yesterday I've been trying to upload a 9 Mb song and it only loads up to 6% and it keeps showing that the upload was paused because of the connection, and I posted it on Google Drive and the song loaded smoothly even with slow internet.

Impossible to unsubscribe. I installed it and tried the free 30-day subscription to the 2 Terabytes plan, I can't cancel it and the monthly payment is coming up
