I don't like this app there are better ones... can't even get a refund... I thought it was "free trial"... lies

I like the app and it's design is very nice and the games are entertaining, but the writing exercises are extremely difficult. It expects you to just memorise the order of the characters for a word instead of actually teaching you the characters. It gets very annoying considering I don't even really want to learn to write, but I am forced to complete these difficult exercises regardless.

App has been great at keeping my language practice going even when I don't have the mood to do so. Amazing to learn new words. Only complaint is the "review dojo" mode being tied to the daily timer instead of being treated like the "quiz mode" as something to do whenever. Also, the app started getting laggy when it comes to loading images in the middle of the timed practices, wasting valuable seconds. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Nowadays, the first category, on your homepage, in almost all cases will be filled with trans ideology, activism, DEI, immigration, etc. Even after asking you what your 'categories of interest' are. What a shame. This app used to be really good. Do yourself a favor: Stay far away.

A nice application overall. I'm learning Estonian for a while now. However the images seem to be quite confusing at times, especially when I'm given a choice of similar looking pictures and I need to remember which exact one depicts the word, even though both could work. Also the country images are inconsistent, as some will be the geographic borders of a country, and sometimes it's a structure/place with a flag, which can be confused with the thing belonging to the country instead.

Won't let me continue my streak. It has consistently said that I have 9 hours left until my next lesson, but I haven't gotten to do my lessons for two DAYS. Is this a bug? If so, please fix it.

The Te Reo course is riddled with mistakes, while they keep"thanking me" for making drops better none of my corrections seem to make it into the material. Also the app is flakey as hell. Every 2nd time I start a lesson it just keeps counting for as long as a minute. And that's by its own timer - compared against my wrist watch 90 seconds have passed. Since the latest update it started showing a white screen in the middle of a training session from which it never returns, I have to force quit.

i use duolingo and drops, and none of them make you understand basics by telling/explaining rules. Drops gets 1 star because it almost never gets what i m speaking into the mic while doing speaking exercises.
