painful to setup
I had to power cycle the eero and the sonic modem a couple times. It was stuck in “registering”. What kind of wifi gateway requires configuration via wifi to the internet when that is what you are setting up? It tried to fall back to cellular but that hung too.

Eero wifi is the absolute worst wifi experience I have ever had. 3 main reasons 1. The system blacklisted a bunch of my devices on my network It was never able to connect to them ever again. 2. Every time a device would leave the network and come back it would show it as new on the app. It had no memory/cache 3. The device is that did work dropped internet constantly. On my phone if I didn't have this app running in the background I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi I spent $350 for the pro 6e system

new ad design hot garbage
The UI update and the inclusion of the new eero+ branding on the main screen is insulting. While I understand the importance to you of highlighting this add-on, the amount of screen space the newly designed advertisement occupies feels excessive and detracts from the user experience. As someone who has already purchased your hardware, this approach is off-putting. The ad takes up almost as much screen inventory as the actual router function. Not cool. Move the eero+ branding and related features to a separate tab. This would allow customers to enjoy a clean, functional interface without unnecessary distractions on the main tab.

I had to figure out a bit of the installation myself. It didn't work exactly like the directions. Proof of performance is TBD.

Having issues with "eero built-in enabled" devices. I.e. Amazon echos, etc. It keeps saying they're offline. And it won't allow me to toggle on the eero built-in capability. App performance has significantly decreased since the last few updates. Regularly takes a while to load up and occasionally says my internet connection has dropped, preventing me from accessing anything on my network. Up until recently the app was working great and now I'm so frustrated and can barely use it anymore.
