I really like the concept of the app quite a bit, just disappointed that there's no way to input & save what ingredients I already have at home (except the "enter up to 3 ingredients")... So it's just not worth keeping imo.

Repetitive Recipes, Poor Functionality, and Deceptive Practices
eMeals has been a major disappointment. The recipes are incredibly repetitive, lacking variety and creativity. The shopping list feature is equally frustrating, often requiring hard-to-find ingredients that aren't readily available at most grocery stores. To make matters worse, they don't notify you before auto-renewing your subscription, and when you reach out for a refund, they flat-out refuse. It's clear this company's business model relies more on people forgetting to cancel than on providing a quality product they can stand behind. Save your money and look elsewhere—there are far better meal planning options available.

Shady renewal practices
I'm disappointed that emeals doesn't take the time to program its software to send a notification to users when the subscription is about to resubscribe. I was charged for another full year with no warning. I cancelled the same day as the subscription renewed and reached out to customer service about a refund. I was told point blank that I am not eligible for a refund. Disappointing customer service! I've subscribed for two full years, but recently my family has had to cut way back- I was surprised and disappointed that the company was not willing to work with me after having been a loyal customer.

Appalling customer service practices
I actually have enjoyed using this app and have used it for my family off and on since it came out. Love the feature of pushing the grocery list to the store. However, I am really unhappy with the response we got when it came down to a recent renewal. Our lives have changed and having time to cook right now in our home is limited. I did not receive a friendly reminder your subscription is going to renew. On the day it was renewed I saw it come across my card and immediately reached out explaining I needed to cancel that i had not been able to use the app for nearly 6 months due to time constraints. Most companies send a reminder a couple days before. Most companies will oblige and reverse the charges. As better to hope the customer will come back when they can. I received a too bad so dad emailed and no refund. Maybe I am petty but what the FFF!! Really. Thanks for your great service. What I will confirm is I will never use this service again and have told everyone to use another service. Which is not as good but the service Is way better. There I got that off my chest. Beware and make sure you cancel before it renews. I did not order the app via Apple Store. I ordered it via their website. So make sure if you use it via the web you cancel all in advance.
