I have been using the fitbit app for years. Around a month ago, the time was not right. The step counter was not accurate, and I could no longer change the face of my watch. What is going on

I keep losing steps everyday both on my device and an the phone app. It's not a sync issue. It's not an app update issue. For eg. I would have 20k+ on both device and app and then suddenly a few minutes later it will be some 18k. What's happening?

There is no way to disable the annoying "ready to hit your target today". Some people need reminders. And that should certainly be an option. I am not one of those people.

This app is barely usable. It stops syncing with my watch every couple of days. I've had to uninstall and reinstall an embarrassing amount of times. Since they stripped access to desktop installer version, fitbit has become nothing more than a watch. The app is unreliable and even when it works the data is painful to navigate anyways

Bought a fitbit to replace my old garmin watch cause I wanted something that something that would link with MFP. Well, the app has consistent, daily issues synching with MFP, among many other issues, where it sometimes takes the whole day to show my info correctly. I would log my food in the fitbit app if it doesn't suck so bad. I had initially thought about returning my fitbit and have regrets that I didn't. I would have been better off with an off brand watch and manually logging exercise.

2 massive bugs: 1. They removed the feature that told me how much weight I had lost since starting. That was a huge motivator and now it's gone. 2. The app really struggles to update the time zone and sync with my Fitbit watch. I often have to "force stop" the app and re-open it to get it to change time zones. This has been a big for a long time.
