I really like the fitbod app on the phone. This review is for the Watch app. It is basically useless. 1. Why is there no countdown timer? 2. Why does the app minimize back to the main watch screen after a brief delay? With these two flaws, the watch app is useless. It seems to me that these would be pretty easy fixes, but I see that people have been complaining about it for a long time.

Amazing app but please fix “past workouts” interface
This is my favorite app and I've used it for years. Absolutely no complaints but the interface to input past workouts is absolutely horrible and not intuitive at all especially on Apple. Please just add a button we can push after in putting our past workouts!

Wouldn’t recommend
Generates workouts based on your weight and experience, which is a little rediculous. For context I'm 17, 6'0 and 75kg deadlift 230kg so about 500lbs . It recommends I do 3x8 of 150lbs. Why? Because it assumes I'm scrawny af. I'm just light, not weak. I see no option to change it so please if a feature like this could be added i'd greatly appreciate it.

Good but needs a lot of work
Constantly lowers my weight for no reason to ridiculous amount (35lbs for squat ,weight and bar) and everyone knows bar weighs 45 alone, after I am doing 135-150lbs or more the week before. Also tries to make you superset barbell exercises with crazy different weight amounts /exercises which means you would have to strip that weight over and over at a home gym which is unfeasible. Needs improvement

Confounding Algorithms and Workout Timing
This app does not do a good enough job building workouts to desired workout time - why ask for that information if it's not used? The algorithm to calculate weights/reps for exercises is clunky. Today I was served up 3 sets of 11 reps at 6 pounds when the app had calculated my 1-rep max as 58 pounds. Made zero sense. Happens too frequently.

4.5 stars, great app
Excellent app, been using it for years. Only downside / feature request is there is no option to add custom exercises. Whether it's a specific rehab exercise or a bespoke machine you want to use - if it's not in the library you can't log it, which is a bummer.

Review
Overall a great app, some exercises don't come up on the app, some tutorial videos of certain exercises are shown with incorrect form these should be reviewed by a qualified personal trainer. Often on a generated workout there are multiple exercises that are very similar and target the same muscle groups 4 times rather than hitting different muscle groups evenly.I think it's overkill and makes me not trust the generated workout

The explanatory videos of the exercises are missing for it to be really perfect. Unfortunately, we still need our phone. It's a shame
