Once upon a time...
This app was a mega cool app... unfortunately, too much of the business model has been changed in the meantime and a one-time purchase is suddenly supposed to turn into monthly contributions and since then everything not only works worse but sometimes not at all, like the only possible alternative for PDF file transfer. It's a pity, actually, otherwise she would have always recommended it to others. 🤷‍♀️

I don’t like the pricing.
I am looking for a scanning app that works well with Apple shortcuts/automations: this app probably does really well. But 45 EUR per year is ridiculously expensive.

It's good to be able to automatically edit neatly, the only drawback is that when saving documents there are 6 steps that must be passed, for developers there needs to be improvements to be shortened when saving documents at least 2 steps have been saved. thank you

No more export possible without paying money. This makes the app unusable. What a pity!

No support and folder structure issues
Genius scan allows you to create folder structures to save and organise your scans however this is ultimately useless as you cannot export the files with the folder structures. This makes exporting a nightmare as you have to go to every folder and export each file to the one export folder. Then I cannot find a way to contact support !!

With the new update, the scan pages within a document can no longer be rearranged! But I often need this function. So the app is not very useful. Too bad, the app was really good.

Genius Scan is free to use for as long as you want.

Should you choose to, you can subscribe to the Genius Scan Plus plan for more features. You can subscribe to Genius Cloud for backup & synchronization. In that case, Genius Scan’s store displays the duration and price of each subscription, updated at the time of purchase. Payment will be charged to iTunes account when the order is confirmed. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off no later than 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions, disable auto-renewal in the iTunes account settings.
