Update UI !!!
PLEASE update the UI. You'd get a lot more traffic and from the looks of it, the low ratings are from consumers who are frustrated with the ancient look and slow user experience. I hope every year that it will be updated to look more visually appealing, but it doesn't; it's still mundane and bland. It's also complicated to navigate in comparison to book apps like StoryGraph; it should be straightforward and smooth, rather than complicated and dense. It's nearly 2025, if AI can update UI experience to be better, then surely Amazon's actual professional team can do it so PLEASE DO IT. That being said, Goodreads is decent for book socializing and discussions, but StoryGraph is far better for data tracking and user design experience. Amazon, update the Kindle UI as well. New year, new kindle, but same exact interface.

Not a trustworthy system - they’ve deleted all ratings on the book
Just got an email: “ we are removing all ratings and reviews added during times of unusual activity on this book” , “ Since your review meets our Review Guidelines, you are welcome to repost it once the unusual activity has passed.” Why are you removing reviews if they meet your guidelines? If there is a new book being released and people are reacting to it whether positively or negative negatively yes they will be the spike in the activity, but it does not mean that you can just delete all the regions and reviews otherwise, what's the point in your website? from now on, there is no trust in the ratings on other books as well!

Add half stars you fools
Great app for readers - essential you could argue. But for the love of christ please add the ability to use half stars in the reviews. I'm far too opinionated to be rounding up or down when reviewing books. Thanking you P.s Ironically I would give the app 4.5 stars but apple have taken a leaf out of your book and only allowed whole stars - both of you, sort it out!

I am aware that the app is based on volunteer labor. Have a bit of ocd, lists and order is just the thing for me. Therefore, the app definitely pushes some of the right buttons for me. Fan of the concept and if you are into English books, then it is great. But the content of Danish books is severely lacking and really drags it down.
