You’re Ipdate Has Frozen Account
You're New Update Has Frozen My Account And Part Frozen My Card I Have No Options To Remove It Or Turn It Off I've Called Up And Went In To The Bank And They Cant Help Me I Have No Way To Get MY OWN MONEY Out Of My Account Get It Fixed The ₣Ʉ₵₭ Now And No Thanks To This App Has Gone To Far Freezing My Account Gone Down Hill Not Funding The App With The Real Equipment For This Problem Not To Happen The Worst This Is No One Is Helping To Resolve The Issues I'm Hand Now Om Stuck Escalating The Issue And Getting told Lies Customer Service Os Really Bad

App crashing
I changed the phone recently to an iPhone 16 Pro and downloaded the app on the new phone. Since then the app is crashing when ever i try to login by entering the username and password. Called the customer service multiple times ans they confirmed that many customers are facing this issue especially with iPhone 15 and above. Tried everything deleting the app reinstalling rebooting the phone etc but nothing works. The app is totally useless and because of that i can even use or maintain the open banking facility with the other banks. The customer service does not even know when the IT team will fix it. Seems bad for a big bank like halifax

Rewards Extra Running Total Request
Rewards Extras feature is good when it updates. It seems to not be working at the moment. So I have to go to my outgoings in the account it's linked to and add up all my spends for the month to check if I'm on track to get my reward. It would be helpful if my selected account showed a running total of my spend for the month which would instantly tell me if I had spent £500 in that month. Doing this manually is silly. We have a running total of transactions pending, so one for all transactions in the month would be awesome. App is great though

App is clunky
Very clunky . Cant see recent account entries . Have to use a PC instead. Annoying! Been going on for ages . Use this card/account very little as a result.

I Would personally prefer to see all of my accounts without offers and updates in between them and having to scroll past to find the account, just a little messy.

I was scammed by a halifax account. After I downloaded this application, it turned out to be different from the previous one.

- Sign in quickly and securely with Touch ID, Face ID or a 3-character combination from your memorable information
- Swipe easily to see balances and statements
- You can now block or cancel subscriptions in the app, just search for “subscriptions” in the app to find out more
- View details of individual transactions
- Check money coming in and going out
- Receive notifications about payments and spending insights on your current account
- Make transfers and payments (it’s so easy)
- Manage your standing orders and view direct debits
- Pay your loan or credit card bill
- Pay in cheques
- Set up new payees or pay your phone contacts.

- Earn as you spend with Cashback Extras
- Apply for loans, savings, cards and more
- Call us safely from the app – we’ll already know it’s you so can quickly connect you without the usual security checks.

STAY SAFE
- Freeze card transactions if you’ve temporarily misplaced your debit card or want to restrict how it’s used

New to this app? No problem. Just register your device and you’re ready to go. For this you’ll need:
- An up-to-date phone number registered with us
- Halifax UK personal account 
- Online Banking username, password and memorable information (you can create these in the app).

Any emails from us will always greet you personally using your title and surname and either the last 4 digits of your account number or the last part of your postcode '*** 1AB'.
