The anime is awesome. Plain and simple they could fix this app easily. Here are the point why it kinda sucks. On a TV you can't continue watching the next episode after episode. There is no way to go to next episode without going to the main menu and finding the anime you watched prior. The continue watching part of the menu won't let you go to the next episode without going through and finding the name of the anime you watched before. Great anime but the app needs updated at least for tvs.

They have a good selection of anime's but the interface needs a lot work starting off with checking off the episodes already watched on the episode guide and on the continue watching thread giving the option to clear already watched

Had to cancel my subscription. Why is the UI so bad? Are good features under copyright? It feels like a battle to get to what I want to watch. I don't want to skip 30 seconds at a time. Why can I not get to the whole season from the episode? Canceled, un-installed, no thank you

Cannot manage subscription online or in this app only on a TV if that's where you signed up. Practice should be illegal.

Time to update my rating (from 3 to 4 stars) and review here, since things have improved a fair bit since my prior review. The addition of the watchlists button to the bottom nav bar fixes one of my big issues with the app, and various bugs have gotten fixed, like the formerly missing series text titles and descriptions in the watchlist view. There is still one critical problem for me: the watched status for each episode is missing and not being updated even after episodes are watched, making it very hard to tell where I am in the various series. Lesser issues: 1) The home screen still only has thumbnails for the series, with no text labels, so it's sometimes hard to figure out what series the thumbnail is for; 2) while new episodes are flagged in the watchlist and episode lists, it's only done by date, for a week, and doesn't track whether the episode is new/unwatched by the current user, and the separate history feature isn't a real replacement for this important feature; 3) the multi-user profile support is welcome, but still minimal, I would rather not see everyone's watchlists, just my own, and if episode “watched” tracking is ever added back in, it needs to be by profile, not account; 4) the skip forward and reverse buttons 30s skip size is mildly annoying since it's too large, the iOS standard video skip is 10s, which is much more convenient for quickly going back to catch subtitles, which I do constantly.

This app is poorly built. Installed it to try and watch Hiragashi 2006. No longer on this app. And the app itself is poorly built. Finding an anime is almost impossible

Terrible UI and too small a selection. Surviving on minimal titles

So I was using this app just the other day and all was fine but now no matter what show I try to watch all I get is Audio with no video at all

Difficult to navigate, Gave them enough time to revamp this. Will be dropping subscription next month . Really miss the easy to use FUNIMATION app. Crunchyroll destroyed it, and HIDIVE is making a joke out of the situation!
