Hipcamp is good but when the host cancels a stay hipcamp only refunds u a small portion of what you actually payed.

Campground search?
It would be really nice if you could search by campground name. I can't save any of my favorite state park campgrounds on this app :( Seems only privately owned areas are listed.

Reserving a site is a tad confusing. Instead of selecting the nights you will be staying, it is the day you arrive and day you leave. For example... if you are wanting a place to stay such as the 8th, and 9th. You must select 8,9,10 on The camp site.

Unfortunately Hipcamp uses very predatory drip-pricing and adds significant fees that aren't shown until check out. Remember, when you look at the price per night of a site, Hipcamp will be adding a $50++ service fees. Very little transparency, very dodgy.

Unclear refund policy and unusable customer support. Paying £50 for 2 nights of camping and then changing the date 2 days later to 3 days in advance and means you'll get charged another £50 but WONT be refunded the original 2 days. Genuinely reconsider using hipcamp as there are many more genuine and reliable camping apps.

We found our first Hip camp experience enjoyable. This is not a criticism, but I feel the directions could've been a little clearer with regard to driving past the White House on the right and down to the cattle yard. As GPS stops at the house. Just a hint for next campers. 600

Needs a lot of improvement
As a host it's super annoying and inconvenient to have to bounce between the website and the app. You are making a lot of money from me and my Campers and I expect a much better experience. Please let me DELETE old messages and attach photos in messages to help my guests. Having to text them from my phone personal phone number is ridiculous.

LET US SORT! So sick of apps/sites (like this one) TAKING autonomy and TIME from us. We know what we want and don't have the time to scroll forever through all the unsorted options! Please tell me this option is available and I'm just not seeing it. So gross without it.
