I just wanted to see how a sofa will look in my room and had to go through a painful and unnecessary experience of providing my address, contact information, project costs, etc. The app doesn't match it's stated description. Tired of every app to sell me what I wasn't asking.

Suspension for no reason
I was suspended for IP reasons although none of my ideabooks are public - all for personal use only. It is impossible to speak with anyone about this and it has been many weeks since raising it with Houzz. Very disappointing. Be careful putting any effort into personal pages as they can suspend you at any moment and not provide you with a way to resolve the access.

Slow to load
I've used this app for years and never had a problem. Now, it's slower than dialup to just open. There's no need for the delayed loading. Also hate that my viewing/search screens are lost if I'm out of the app for a few minutes. If I wanted to return to the Home Screen I would have done a hard close of the app.

Sketchy when you leave
There's no email communication or information on the account for upgraded account billing. Be careful, super shady for pushing through recurring charges with no notice. App navigation to cancel upgraded accounts also leaves a lot to be desired. Pending hearing back from a support case and had to put a Merchant Block through my financial institution.

Unfortunately the app is buggy.. I have a page that asks me to choose what interests me but I have no choice and I can't click next. So I'm stuck. Forced to uninstall the app. Even when reinstalling it I have the same problem.
