Slow story redundant and not ready

Not good for 2024

I have used H&R for the past 7 years. This year I kept getting stuck in menu loops every time I was requested to review an item. Didn't find help options from AI or otherwise. Uploading W2 took 6 tries despite flawless pictures. Apple Pay doesn't work at all. May go somewhere else next year.

they constantly try and force you to pay

I accidentally added the self-employed thing to my cart and it's impossible to remove. the live chat is useless. I'm deleting the app and finishing filing through turbotax

Frustrated

Extremely frustrating that if you accidentally marked for a pro. You cannot remove without waiting for support to do this. Seriously thinking of going back to Turbo Tax.

No refunds and unnecessary fees

You can get the same service for free from others but hr block will tell you that you have to upgrade to e file at the end. This is a scam. Just use tax slayer and it's free to efile.

Correcting mistakes

I have used H&R Block for approximately 15 + years. This s the first time I knew I made a mistake regarding my mortgage info. I tried to go back to the page to correct it but I couldn't. Used to be you could go to the beginning and go page by page and make corrections.

ur phone get hacked

Shortly after using this app after it crashed multiple times and windows would get stuck in buttons wouldn't work. I started to receive multiple versions of spam through text messages. This happened in a direct result of trying to use this app.
