Customer Service to be Desired
As of this past Saturday, I have been receiving emails about someone else's JCP MasterCard. The emails are addressed to the other person, it has their first and last name, and the last four digits of their JCP MasterCard. When I called to find out what was going on, I was the one given the hard time. I was asked countless times over and over what my email address was, my current address, and all the other places I've lived in in the past. Seems to me they are the breach of PI. Long time customer of JCP. Totally disappointed and not holding my breath that they will remove my email address from that other person's JCP Mastercard.

Return Nightmare
I am not one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. I placed an order online and needed to return a couple items. Not only did they charged me $8t dollars to return it, but I had to pay another $5.50 to print the label…. Needless to say I was not happy. With that being said, JC Penney's won't EVER have to worry about me ordering anything from them again. And would advise anyone ordering online to BE AWARE

Payment due date confusing
I like the ease of paying my monthly payment thru the app but I can't seem to find anywhere the due date until jcpenny sends you a little text or note saying “hey, you're late, please pay”. So of course I pay right then and there, and of course they stick you with a hefty late fee.

Extremely disappointed when I went to upload my receipts again from last month (due to multiple attempts and it failing) and was given the notification that you cannot upload receipts older than 15 days. The sales person did not state there was a time limit to upload the receipts to begin with. I have spent over $500 in the last month and a half. You would think that keeping their customers happy and knowledgeable of their policies would be a priority.

Not Great
The app is okay on a tablet. Ordering an item for store pickup is useless. Every time, the wrong item was scanned in for pick up or the item is available and will let you order and pay, and then told later that the store inventory wasn't updated. And ship times always change after ordering. It's coming on this day but the carrier says different. Order and wait and wait.

Interest charges
I paid off a big balance and the same day I made the payment, I was hit with the interest fees. I would have paid the interest fees the same day, if it was included with my balance. I called to see if the fees can be waived and it was denied.
