No longer competitive
I used Jerry for close to 10 years. They used to be good and worked with all of the major companies. Now they've gone downhill to working with bottom of the barrel like safeco and national general. They start with cheap quotes and then do a bait and switch where your rates keep jumping even after prices are confirmed. I canceled my Jerry plan of over $200 and went with a normal and reputable company for $63.

Quotes are not very accurate. Gave all info. Verified quotes were up to 30% lower than actual price when directed to the actual insurer. May try again when I'm shipping around in 6 months.

Not useful for insurance optimization, fake advert
You will fill comprehensive questionnaire, and they only have like 5-7 insurance providers, more then half of them is not working with NY state, and other just failed to give a quote or will provide standard basic one

The bait and switch.
I was happy using this app 3 years ago. Now not happy what so over. They attract you with the initial quote and you see the great savings. You get “confirmed” quote which raises the price buts still good. Once you agree to buy the price magically raises a second time. So they had to confirm the quote the second time? The first quote is definitely misleading and deceptive. During the checkout process they give you option to cancel the old policy be careful and make sure the new policy is purchased.

Scam. Quotes low rate then forces to install app to purchase & the rates have quadrupled, not to mention demands "all the time" access to location. Quotes my current provider at $250higher per month than their renewal offer.

Trash customer service trash effort
Twice this app has ruined my payment once by not charging my card and the latest by telling my my due date was three days later than it actually was. Be careful you will have to pay late fees for their mistakes and the horrible customer service can barely give you the time of day. Trrrraaaaaaaasssssshhhhhhhhhhhh Response to Developer: oh I'm don't with “contacting an agent” it helps none I have screenshots of yalls mistake and then the “agent” telling me that my payment was processed (which wasn't the issue I was trying to resolve)
