I can't even begin to explain how this app isn't even close to being user friendly. Just bring back the regular sales in the store.

Why did they change the app?
I've been using the jewel app for years and always found it to be extremely convenient and easy to use. I don't understand this new update ever since they added pay in store I have to go into my settings and select my store each and every time I want to order for pick up and when I set substitutions, it doesn't give me recommendations. You have specifically your own, which is time-consuming and when you're trying to select a time slot can sometimes bump you out of that timeslot because of how long it takes. I hope this makes sense lol. But i really need for them to go back to the previous version. I definitely would have rated version 5 stars

Been having issues for days. Not been able to view cart which means I can't do any online ordering. Constantly getting error code 1001. Chat agents have not been helpful. Edit: Made this review over a year ago. App still doesn't work properly.

Jewel essentially demands that you use this app to self clip your deals to make sure you dont overspend on products compared to other stores. The least they could do is produce an app that doesnt freeze every other time you open it and which doesnt take a minute to boot up. 0/5 do better Albertsons

This app just keeps getting worse. Seems like everytime they "upgrade" it always has more problems and is less user friendly. Right now the website to deliver/pickup groceries will be down until 11/16. Looking to shop elsewhere. This is terrible. Ive shopped here over 40 yrs and never had these problems before and right before Thanksgiving and Xmas. Jewel must not need the $$.

I don't understand how this app could be so laggy and cumbersome. It seriously hinders the shopping experience from the outset. Past that, trying to pay is downright painful. I can't add a single card to my account: it doesn't even try to add them, just an error to check card details. Paying with the *same cards* through PayPal is the only way to get it to work, and it's been this way for MONTHS.

Ordering online..
Needs improvement. If someone can't cancel their order the food just sits there? And we have to wait to request refund.. all because you forgot to add something or need to change quantity. It's very frustrating.

Expiring points
The idea that points expire is really a downer on anywhere that offers a reward point system. Add that to the fact that for my points to not expire I have to get a subscription which is very anti consumer in and of itself, it makes me not want to shop at jewel all together.
