I've been on Kijiji since the beginning of time. it's my 1 used app, over the years it helps its popularity over other used apps, because of its simplicity and effectiveness. BUT!!! I decided to give it 2/5 stars... because in the last little bit the app has gotten "greedy" and I get overhead cost etc... I'd never wanted the app to fall into black. I mean greedy because especially in the vehicle section of the app the paid ads push your ads into the abyss, take you a solid hour to skip passed

pay for four ads and only 1 stays up. it's a scam now, and they try to say it's gotta do with standards. even with a registered business its a waste of money

Remove - “Hi, is this still available?”, its SPAM!
Kijiji actively allows SPAM on their app! They even make SPAM a one touch option to waste users time. People that ask if the item is available are always spammers that never respond to the answer!! Remove this feature! It is a SPAM feature for losers that only waste people's time! Truly interested buyers will take the time to type a real message. So annoying. Ruins the experience.

My opinion
The search engine is garbage when it comes to the app on my iPhone. However, to be fair when I browse on my desktop, everything seems to work fine. Just thought I'd share that.
