I understand the purpose of the app, but it's still highly confusing. Spending $5 to get a $750 credit balance is confusing. I am aware that the 750 isn't physical or anything of monetary value and it can only be used within the app, but i have no clue as to where I can find that. I have an option to open a credit loan of $120 and recieve the full 120 back once its paid in full. But how would I know I wouldnt be losing $120? This app seems quite suspicious. Going to request my $5 be returned.

Kickoff is very misleading
They want you to pay $5, $25, $35 for money you can't even use unless it's being used at their store for educational purposes. So if you're low on cash you can't take money from anywhere to put gas in your car or food on your table or for an emergency. Yes it does build credit for you to someday get a credit card but you can really do these things yourself. If I'm going to pay for something I want to use it the way I want to. I wasted my time and money at this purchase at your own risk

False advertising, you don't get your money back. They hold your credit score hostage if you don't pay or cancel. They charge a ridiculous amount to sit on their hands and show you game credit scores.

They literally just take your money. You're giving them free money. Your credit line is for show to build credit score. You don't actually get a line of credit to use anywhere. It's a scam.
Kikoff – Build Credit Quickly - Product Description
If you’re ready to build your credit, Kikoff is the fastest, smartest, and easiest way to do it. Purchase the Kikoff plan for just $5/month (with no additional fees or interest – yes, really). You’ll get a credit line reported to Equifax and Experian every month. Each on-time payment builds payment history, which helps your credit score! Whether you have a low credit score or no credit score, we make it easy and worry-free – no credit check required and it only takes a few minutes to apply. How it works: 1. We lower your credit utilization with a $750 credit line. 2. You make a purchase in the Kikoff store with that credit line, and you just pay back what you spend (our lowest + most popular payment amount is $5/month). We report those payments to the credit bureaus every month while your utilization rate stays low (like 8% low). 3. You have the option to put your credit building on autopilot by turning on AutoPay – that’s right, no heavy lifting required from you after account setup. Kikoff helps you build credit by establishing a payment history and maintaining a low utilization rate, all with no unexpected fees or interest.
