A reading application should allow you to read the works you have acquired without a connection! This is not the case with Kobo (Rakuten or Fnac)... Even Google Play Books allows it. Furthermore, on a tablet, with a comic in landscape mode, the zoom from a double page to a single page does not stop at the format of the latter: you have to constantly zoom out manually... Here too, other applications do better. Having just acquired a Kobo e-reader, I am therefore disappointed by this "ecosystem"...

The last one doesn't save the app how far I've read and starts a book over every time. Very annoying.

I do get a nice notification every time that one of your books on your wishlist is now available on kobo plus. Yeah okay...which book, where? I have dozens of books on my list. It would be nice if you give such a notification and also show me which book.

The brightness setting is way to bright. I've had this app for over 10 years and the new updates changed things for the worst.

Good app but missing features

There are no options to manage the account from the app, such as payment, addresses, etc.

Terrible search function, hard to find books both in the app and on the home page. Terrible player for audio. Incredibly little is included in the subscription and buying individual books is very expensive!

I like Kobo as an alternative to Amazon. The app isn't great, however. I use it for audiobooks and the sound quality is bad. It's very grainy. My progress in the audiobook I'm listening to will randomly jump forwards or backwards and I'll have to find where I was. And there's no chapter selection when using Android Auto.

I like the app but even though I have the book downloaded, it takes a while to open and lags at times.
