Harmful “Insights”
I would caution anyone thinking of using this app that there are feedback features which cannot be turned off unless you pay them money. The app will push unsolicited feedback about what foods you should not be eating, how regularly you go over budget, and what your “negative patterns” are constantly. When I reached out to support about this they “invited” me to pay for a premium account and told me that until I did, the reminders would continue.

I can understand, nevertheless the foundation of the application is lost without the scan because makes the application too restrictive, the proposal to have the data, objectives of the advice was more appropriate for a premium

Good app but…
They've started moving once free features to the premium version. Barcode scanner for example. It's free on Cronometer.

Won't load at times
It won't load at all at times, even after I delete and reinstall it several times. When I paid for the year, I had no problems. Now that I am using it for free, I'm having all kinds of obstacles. It has never done this in the past because I have been using it for several years. Is anyone else having this problem?

Takes away existing features to squeeze more money out of you.
Any app that takes away free features and moves them behind a paywall for users who already had grandfathered access to them is instantly getting deleted. There is no excuse for that kind of greed. I had been able to scan barcodes on food since I downloaded this several years ago and was just met with a message that said it was now a premium feature. It's one thing to add new paid features, but taking away existing free ones because you decided your existing users hadn't given you enough money is completely abhorrent. If I could leave zero stars I would.

good but needs customization options
It's a good app, but I wish it was possible to reorder items in meals, like when you're trying to track the order in which you had your snacks for the day.

Good app, bad monetization of features
This app works well, offers great advice and support, but the continued push of services and app abilities to the premium service is absolutely ridiculous. I understand a business needs to make money, but I can't SCAN barcodes unless I pay you money EVERY year??? Greed at its finest.

Gets the job drive if you’re willing to pay
This used to be great as a free app and even better as a paid app which I would subscribe to when trying to maintain goals. Now you can't even scan barcodes without paying. The free version also blasts you with ads nonstop, to the point of being unusable. Ultimately I took advantage of the lifetime sale because I do use the app often throughout the year. But this is not a free app as the free version is unusable. Of course the day I purchase lifetime I found this ridiculous bug - my young son stepped on my WiFi scale and added a 60lbs entry to my weight. As soon as Lose It saw that it ended my weight goal reset all my daily calories to “maintain” weight and that was it, no more weight plan setup. I have to start from the beginning again. Deleting the weight entry removed it from my history but the goal was still lost. Didn't ask me, no way of going back to my original goal that takes 10 minutes to setup with the questionnaire.
