Peddling too many ads
Android
Nov 12, 2024
For many years I used to use this app above all others. However, the constant annoying ads and trend of left wing moderation of comments has ruined what used to be a good mix of alternative views. Now, if the comments do not fit with the current PC model of telling us how to think and feel, they do not get posted. Common sense and adult dialogue is not allowed. Only sycophantic pandering is. I have uninstalled the app and will look elsewhere for a more balanced outlook.

Terrible app that won't refresh half the time. Even when I delete the app and download it again, it won't load new articles.

**UPDATED REVIEW** The material I wrote before still applies. There was a recent update to the app and it somehow took away the ability to comment and interact with other readers on some topics. This was one of the reasons I kept the app. Please change! The ads are getting increasingly worse. The ads are often stories you're actually already reading. Even their actual website doesn't run well bc of this. Definitely would use this app more if they decreased that and made this more user-friendly.

Good but a lot of ads

Enjoy what's available but not so happy about all the mail + articles that I can't access as I don't see why I should pay for.

Terrible
The app glitches a lot, it's full of ads that pop up any chance they get that almost makes it unusable. Also most of the articles are falsely reported or clickbait with no actual information mentioned so I wouldn't waste your time using the app at all.

Used Mail Online for years. The new version is too intrusive, some articles now have to be paid for. It has suddenly become very annoying to use. Uninstalling.

Worse than ever
Used to just be a scummy news app with ads, but now the ads are getting ridiculously invasive. Now the ads open in your web browser without you even needing to click on them. Nothing you can do about it except uninstall.
