I used to have access to the entire catalog, and that's why I paid for the subscription. The idea of having to pay for the novels separately seemed fair to me, and I haven't had any problems so far. Now, there are comics that I can't read with the subscription, and the ones I could read are blocked and without panels (because I guess they're moving to the gem-based ones). I don't, I really don't, get ripped off. This is the last payment I'm making to you.

I've been using it for years and things have only gotten worse. Since the last update, I've uninstalled and reinstalled so much that I can't keep reading, and with the issue of gems for comics that I've already read/was reading before they added them... Terrible.

Wrong move
Loved this app since it gave me comics I could read without paying for a chapter and I didn't mind the subscription since I could read any comic but now what's the point. They made the wrong move with this new gem items they are adding and I read the reviews and the comments they make back saying we will let our team know is all bull at the end of the day I can see all comics will need gems and this would just be an app I end up deleting.

Why gems
I have had this app for years and I read so often. It has to be my most used app. I am sadly probably going to end my subscription soon. Why are so many new manga coming out with pay with gems. It used to be so amazing reading anything I wanted with a monthly fee and now I have to go at a monthly fee which upped and now I have to buy these gems separately. I get so disappointed when I open the app and can't even read a new series. Also they have brought back manga that they had when I first got the app and now you have to pay with gems when I read it with the regular subscription before….

Gems are making this difficult
Used to spend most of my time reading various mangas on manta but since they've added gems it's become more difficult to find things that grab my attention. I pay a subscription and now manga's that look more interesting are also behind a “ buy and keep the episodes “ paywall making my subscription fee feel null and void. Really sad to see what was a good subscription based app go the same way as all the other “free” apps…. There needs to be a way that people with subscription can skip the gems only wall but it stays in place for free users of the app…

Get ready to loose a lot of subscribers
I'm not sure whose decision it was to start using this whole gem system. It was a very bad decision to do this. The whole point will come to this app unlike the other ones was that we can actually binge read tons of comics without having to pay extra or to buy gems or crystals just to read a comic or novel now you've decided to go ahead and not only charge us for our regular subscription, but have the nerve to charge us for gems to these comics that were once unlimited. This is crazy. You guys are gonna have a whole lot of people unsubscribe because of someone stupid decision to make this like any other apps especially with these websites that we can really read all these comics for free. That's the crazy part to me. You guys are gonna loose a lot of people behind this! LISTEN TO YOUR AUDIENCE!!! We are all saying the same thing here.

The app was my favorite. I read every day and quickly subscribed. Now I just finish the manga I've started and then that's it. All the new releases that seem good come with the new gems that you have to pay extra for. So what's the point of the subscription? No thanks.
