Coming back to GPS routes with Mapquest! I wish they would make it so that it could show up in CarPlay in the split dash or homepage mode. Whatever it's called. I've removed google maps, Apple Maps and Waze and now it opens my weather radar app as the default map. It would be amazing if they could change that.

I would have given 5 stars except for all of the ads that are on it everywhere now! This is so frustrating! I still haven't been able to find a good app for finding directions that don't have ads everywhere.

Not a happy mapper
Tried to get a confirmation on a road closure, while it gave us the alternative route it changed as we were getting ready to exit and took us straight into the road closure instead

Works well but needs updated
Mapquest has always had a strong offering in the GPS arena and has route planning. Add-free is affordable at $1.99/mo .. especially when lowest price I found on other route planning apps was $9.99/mo. Unfortunately, the programmers have not updated to the latest landmark names and has THE GULF OF AMERICA listed incorrectly. Hopefully they will set aside political differences and show their American patriotism by resolving that soon. Otherwise .. GoogleMaps and/or AppleMaps can perform routing algorithms just as well .. and the nomenclature of their maps is up to date. May God Bless The Gulf of America … and all of the USA.

Serious updates needed
I love these hometown guys and really want to use this app in the wake of the change of the name of the Gulf of MEXICO on other apps. But the app interface is very clunky and CarPlay interface was very problematic for not being able to see far enough ahead to navigate. On a trip just made it didn't tell me what side of the road the destination was on, and it was not visible on the CarPlay screen until I was on top of it.

Not good anymore for those of us with older XS max
I can no longer use this app as the arrow to get to the app after now showing advertisements is not selectable being behind my camera area/ speaker as this version phone does not allow that space to be usable. Disappointed.
