It's a pretty good app and service, but the push notifications about things I've no interest in aren't cool. There should be a setting to stop those things. I'm interested in a few Masterclass courses, but not all of them or random subjects.

It's very hard to cancel the subscription. there are tips on how to cancel by going to the settings or going on Google play but it's not there. It is difficult for someone who doesn't have time to be scouring the apps for this. It's really annoying. Good app for learning but not great for someone who has no time

App is buggy

The classes are great but the app is terrible. Very buggy and impossible to stream to the TV, forcing you to watch on an smaller device.

Great content, poor app experience The classes are fantastic, but the app itself is very buggy. I've had issues casting from my Samsung Galaxy to my Samsung TV — the connection is unstable or fails altogether. Even on mobile, strange things happen — for example, I try to play episode 5, but I hear episode 4's audio while the screen stays black and frozen. It feels like an app from 7 years ago in terms of technical quality.

No offline viewing

You can't download lectures for offline viewing if you are an individual account user. If you want to download, you need to buy the tier that comes with 6 accounts, which obviously is something ridiculous to do for an individual user. Master Class management needs a master class on how to tier provided services. I'll not spend another penny on this service.

Double charged

I responded to 50% off offer but they double charged me. I contacted customer service but couldn't get them to refund the extra payment. The app was good but I was disappointed I didn't enjoy the price that was advertised.

This app is awful. It's hard to resume where you left off—paused videos reset to random spots. It doesn't remember the last watched video and always restarts from the beginning when opened from the list. Rewinding is unbearably slow, making it frustrating to find where you stopped. It's not designed for learning but for pushing new content, optimizing for attention-chasing rather than actual learning.

They don't refund!!!! Instead of having a button in the app to get the promised 30 day guarantee, you have to write an email, probably to make it hard to ask. About one month after my refund request, and with asking again, they do not respond.

Completely unusable with Chromecast. Lags and fully stops playing after a couple of minutes. Insane for the price you're paying to not have a working app..
